What are the responsibilities and job description for the Staff Accountant position at Deceuninckna?
The Staff Accountant at Deceuninck North America will be responsible for assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes, maintaining and reconciling accounts and balance sheets. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting with accounts receivable functions and fixed asset management. The Staff Accountant will also prepare and analyze company financial reporting and support internal and external audit processes.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 2 to 5 years prior Accounts Payable or accounting related experience.
- Knowledge of accounts payable principles, accounting standards, and industry regulations.
- Advanced competency in accounting and business management software, such as NetSuite or SAP experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc).
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and work ethics.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Great time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
