PRODUCTION SCHEDULER
Deceuninck North America is looking for an experienced PRODUCTION SCHEDULER to for our production facility in Monroe, Ohio. Supporting our extrusion operations, the Production Scheduler will collaborate with operations and customer service to ensure that customer requirements, inventory and business objectives are met. The Production Scheduler will be part of supporting Deceuninck's Supply Chain Excellence initiatives through data-driven planning, schedule optimization and continuous improvement efforts.
What you will do:
- Maintain MRP and scheduling parameters aligned with demand requirements.
- Develop production schedules that balance customer demand, inventory objectives, manufacturing efficiency, and available capacity.
- Evaluate production constraints and proactively adjust schedules to optimize throughput and minimize disruptions.
- Collaborate with Supply Planning, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Operations teams to ensure schedule feasibility and material readiness.
- Monitor and report key scheduling KPIs, including schedule adherence, production stability, capacity utilization, and schedule-related service risks.
- Identify opportunities to improve planning parameters, scheduling processes, reports, and system utilization.
- Support Supply Chain Excellence initiatives through continuous improvement, process optimization, and data-driven decision making.
What you will bring:
- Associates Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, Engineering or related field (preferred)
- 3 years' experience in production scheduling or planning (Preferably in a manufacturing environment),
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Previous experience working with SAP, MES, and Power BI
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy; strong critical self-review skills
- Excellent organizational skills, a high sense of urgency
- Proven analytical experience with high aptitude for research, analysis and problem solving
- APICS/ASCM certification (preferred)
