Job Description:
Shift Hours
Monday through Friday, starting at 8:00 AM until work is completed (typically between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM, dependent on workload). On rare occasions, the shift may extend to 8:00 PM.
Work Environment
The work area is cold and wet, with temperatures consistently ranging from 34°F to 40°F throughout the year. Candidates must be comfortable working in these conditions and willing to learn to operate an electric pallet jack. Steel, safety, or composite slip- and water-resistant boots are required.
Qualifications
• 1 yeas of warehouse experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and understand English
• Basic arithmetic skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs, bend, squat, push, pull, stand for extended periods,
• Ability to work safely with sharp instruments
• Knowledge of produce and previous experience in a processing facility is Helpful
Responsibilities
• Efficiently process fresh cut orders, including cutting and packaging vegetables and other food products for next-day delivery
• Process fresh cut items and produce according to orders entered into the system
• Package items and prepare them for shipment to ensure timely delivery
• Maintain product quality standards
• Follow all safety rules and regulations
• Fulfill additional requests or instructions from the Manager or Supervisor
