Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Assist the physician with patient care and basic clinical procedures
- Prepare exam rooms and help maintain efficient patient flow
- Document and update patient information in the EMR
- Assist with prior authorizations, medication requests, and insurance documentation
- Assist with patient messages, forms, and other clinical/administrative tasks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical environment
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification preferred but not required
- Previous medical office or clinical experience preferred
- EMR and prior authorization experience is a plus
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Friendly and professional with patients
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Comfortable working as part of a small team and helping where needed
