Job Summary
The Senior Service Coordinator is responsible for overseeing Senior services, coordinating activities, supporting staff, and ensuring clients receive high-quality services. This role acts as a bridge between clients, staff, and community resources while maintaining compliance with program guidelines.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Coordinate and manage services for participants, including assessments, registration, and transportation
- Oversee and assist with scheduling and coordination of transportation services to and from the center
- Supervise and support service coordination staff, drivers, and volunteers, providing guidance and training as needed
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of participant interactions, transportation logs, and services provided
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners and service providers
- Assist in developing policies, procedures, and program improvements
- Handle complex or high-need participant cases
- Prepare reports and maintain records for program evaluation and audits
- Keep accurate counts of participation and report as required by funders
- Plan and execute activities for seniors
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
- Valid Driver license required
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, Human Services, or related field preferred
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Requires proficiency in utilizing computers, databases, word, outlook and spreadsheets.
- Ability to function independently, and manage staff
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Ability to obtain food handlers license
Application Procedure
Pay Rate: $18.50-$20.00
