What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Laborer/Forklift Driver position at Decatur Industrial Electric?
Day Shift: 7 AM to 3:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Willingness to “get dirty”
- Punctual and professional attitude
- Willingness to do tasks requested which can vary week to week
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Perform all work as directed by weekend supervisor or leadership personnel
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bring your passion and previous industrial experience and we can teach you the rest.
- Experience in industrial workplaces a plus.
- Forklift and plant maintenance experience preferred
- Knowledge/experience in electric motors preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Safety conscious
