- POSITION SUMMARY
- Reports To:
- Director of Physician Practices
- Summary:
- Provides nursing triage services and health advice for patients over the phone using the Clear Triage software program. Evaluates, assesses, and documents patients' symptoms, questions, and concerns. Schedules in-office and telehealth appointments. Advises patients to emergency treatment when warranted.
- Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday day shift; typical schedule 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Education
- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of practical nursing or ASN, BSN, Diploma Degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Experience
- Two years related experience required.
- Computer Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, email and basic computer skills for other software used throughout the hospital for your area of responsibility.
- Experience in navigating EMR to gather information.
- Knowledge of computers and data entry.
- Certificates & Licenses
- Must be a Licensed nurse registered in the State of Indiana. BLS certification required.
- Other Requirements
- Multi-line telephone experience helpful. This position requires constant sitting, use of hands and fingers, lifting and carrying 0–10 lbs and pushing and pulling 0–12 lbs.
