We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Director of Marketing & Business Development to spearhead our growth initiatives. A Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field is preferred, along with three to five years of experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong writing and creative abilities, with proven success developing clear and engaging communications. This role requires excellent interpersonal, listening, and communication skills to collaborate effectively across a diverse healthcare workforce. The candidate must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and maintain strong attention to detail. Proficiency in both written and verbal communication, as well as experience using common computer software programs, is essential.
Brief Description of Job:
Provides marketing and communications services to enhance the image of Decatur County Hospital.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote DCH services;
- Initiate and maintain productive relationships with local and regional business entities in furtherance of the hospital's objectives;
- Monitor and analyze market trends and patient feedback to identify opportunities for growth;
- Lead the development of marketing materials, including publications, newsletters, displays, etc.;
- Coordinate and manage marketing and promotional activities;
- develop and maintain relationships with employees, administration, and other stakeholders;
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the marketing department;
- Manage the budget for marketing activities;
- Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives;
- Report directly to the hospital CEO in the development and implementation of marketing objectives to assist the organization in meeting its strategic goals.
- Experience in using Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, and other marketing software is strongly preferred.
