Business Development Marketing Associate

You will market to plumbing, roofing, construction, and HVAC companies in the greater South of Nashville area, generally reminding them to call you when they see a job that will work for us. We will provide all the training you need to succeed in this role. No experience necessary.

Who is DEC Fire & Water Restoration?:
DEC is a family-owned and local restoration business based in Birmingham, AL with additional offices around the Southeast. For your peace of mind, we've been in business since 1999, and we're not stopping anytime soon.

What does DEC do?:
Our core business revolves around the cleanup of water and sewage in homes and businesses across the state. For example, someone comes home at the end of a work day to find their water heater has been spraying water for three hours and flooded their laundry room, kitchen, and living room. What do they do? Typically their first call is to a plumber to replace the leaking water heater. Now they're left with water on the floors, under the cabinets, and behind the walls...and that's where we come in. Our goal is to have that plumber refer us to their client as the best company in town to clean up and dry out the mess left behind by the water. On top of our drying services being needed in that exact moment, the majority of our work is typically covered by the homeowner's insurance, so it becomes a win-win for both of us.

In this example, your role would be marketing our services to the plumber, before the leak ever happens. You want him automatically thinking of you (and DEC) when he sees that next water damage.

What is the position?:
This is a full time marketing position based out of our Murfreesboro, TN office. There will be a lot of local driving, so a company vehicle will be provided. You'll be responsible for hosting breakfast a few days a week in different offices around the area, so an "early morning person" is a must for this position. Some of your days may be 6am - 3pm of driving from business to business. Some days may be all computer and phone work from your home or the office. We have a Director of Marketing that will be training you and scheduling your days to begin with, but being a self-motivated person is a strong requirement for this role.

What does it pay?:
There's a salary of $900/week, a company vehicle, fuel, cell phone, and expense account to go along with a nice bonus structure for meeting certain goals. As you build your client base, these bonuses should become a large part of your overall pay.
