What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Butcher position at DeBragga?
As a craft Butcher at DeBragga, you will share our unwavering standards of quality and precision. You will be responsible for:
- Breaking down and fabricating large cuts of beef, pork, and lamb into various wholesale and retail portions.
- Perform specialty cuts to fulfill customized orders for our high-end restaurant and online retail clientele.
- Utilizing hand tools and power equipment including knives, grinders, and saws, with exceptional skill and safety.
- Assisting in the inventory and management of our extensive range of premium products, including Wagyu, dry-aged beef and heritage brands.
- Adhering to the highest food safety and sanitation standards in a temperature controlled environment.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of assigned work area and equipment.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who shares our commitment to excellence and will have:
- At least two years of butchery experience
- Knowledge of meat fabrication, meat cuts, and different species
- Dexterity and physical stamina required to handle repetitive tasks and lift heavy boxes.
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail and a passion for the craft of butchery.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a close-knit team.
