Duties
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles to promote skill development and reduce challenging behaviors
- Collect accurate data on client progress during therapy sessions to inform ongoing treatment adjustments
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and toileting, to enhance independence
- Support teaching strategies that improve communication, social skills, and adaptive behaviors in children with autism
- Maintain detailed and compliant medical documentation and records in accordance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with team members to develop, review, and update personalized care plans tailored to each client’s needs
- Foster a positive, engaging environment that encourages learning, growth, and emotional well-being for all clients
Requirements
- Previous experience or training in behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), or working with children with developmental disabilities
- Excellent communication skills to effectively teach and support clients while collaborating with families and team members
- Ability to work flexibly in various settings, including homes, community, or schools, providing patient-centered care with compassion and professionalism
- Must be detail-oriented with strong data collection skills to accurately track client progress over time
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
- Commitment to ethical standards in behavioral health practices and adherence to all safety protocols
- Medicaid Provider ID (not required but preferred)
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
