Hours
4 day workweek : Monday through Friday with 1 day off during the week
Saturdays : One every third or fourth Saturday from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Total Hours: 36-40 per week

Pharmacy Technician Responsibilities
- Excel in customer service skills to meet the needs of patients which includes friendly, personable customer interactions in person and over the phone
- Be an active participant in creating a welcoming atmosphere for team members and customers
- Work together with the pharmacist, other technicians, clerks, and drivers in processing, counting, and/or selling prescription medications
- Assist the team in inventory management
- Be comfortable and competent using computers and willing/able to learn new systems/equipment
- Utilize good problem-solving skills and be detail-oriented
- Understand and have working knowledge to process prescription insurance for patients
- Willingness to promote services we offer (Example: MedSync, Supplements) to best serve our patients
- Have basic math skills including cash handling and basic pharmacy calculations
- Have proficient knowledge of sig codes
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations including HIPAA and FW&A requirements
- Be professionally dressed/groomed in pharmacy approved attire
- Any other jobs/responsibilities assigned
- Bilingual welcomed
Pharmacy Technician Position Requirements
- Active Arkansas Pharmacy Technician License
- National Certified Pharmacy Technician (Preferred)
- 2 years of pharmacy technician experience (Desired)
- Willingness to work daytime, evening, and/or Saturday shifts
- Ability to or willingness to learn to administer immunizations to patients
- Ability to or willingness to learn to perform Strep, Flu, and COVID testing on patients
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently to serve our patients
- Pass a criminal background check
- Pass a drug screening
Pharmacy Technician Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 45 pounds
- Ability to frequently reach up, crouch down, bend, and twist
- Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
- Ability to visually locate products and read small print
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
