What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Swim Coach position at Dearborn Country Club?
Qualifications & Job Description:
- Previous swimming/coaching experience & knowledge of the sport.
- Knowledge of all competitive strokes.
- Must possess current American Red Cross Lifeguard certification by the start of employment.
- Must have a strong work ethic, and time management.
- Country Club, Age Group competitive swim team.
- Must be able to write swim workouts, with correct swim gear, for varying age groups.
- Be able to identify incorrect swim techniques and teach the correct technique.
- Work towards the development of the team and the individual athlete.
- 6 evening dual meets throughout the summer and the MICSA Finals Meet from July 28-30th; must be dressed in country club attire.
- Communicate effectively with athletes and parents.
- Reports to the Head Coach.
Work Schedule: Varies; Weekday Evenings in April and Early May; Weekday Mornings Late May-July, Saturday mornings
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
