Location: Manasquan, NJ
We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our woodworking shop. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience operating CNC machinery, producing high-quality components, and maintaining an efficient and safe work environment. This is a hands-on role working with custom woodworking projects.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machinery for custom woodworking projects
- Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and work orders
- Load materials, monitor machine performance, and ensure quality standards are met
- Perform machine setup, tooling changes, and routine maintenance
- Troubleshoot machine and programming issues as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work closely with the shop team to meet production schedules and deadlines
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality control standards
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of CNC machining or CNC woodworking experience
- Experience with CNC programming and machine setup preferred
- Ability to read technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
