Role Summary:
The Store Manager is responsible for the overall performance, operations, and customer experience of the K-POP flagship store in New York. This role serves as the on-site leader, ensuring brand standards, sales performance, team development, and fan engagement are executed at the highest level. The Store Manager acts as the key operational owner of the flagship location, translating brand vision into an exceptional in-store experience for fans and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
· Strategic & Operational Leadership: Lead all daily flagship store operations—including sales execution, staffing, merchandising, and event readiness—ensuring consistent execution in a high-traffic retail environment.
· Sales & Performance Management: Drive store sales performance by monitoring key KPIs, executing promotional initiatives, and continuously improving productivity and conversion.
· Inventory & Loss Prevention Management: Ensure inventory accuracy, proper stock flow, and shrink prevention by partnering with SCM and enforcing inventory control standards.
· Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, onboard, train, and develop a high-performing team of 20 associates while fostering a fan-centric, service-driven store culture.
· Financial Accountability: Own full store-level P&L performance, managing labor and controllable expenses while reporting financial and operational results to the US Executive Director.
· Customer & Fan Experience Management: Deliver an exceptional, fan-focused customer experience by upholding brand service standards and overseeing in-store events and artist activations.
· Compliance & Safety: Maintain compliance with company policies, labor regulations, and safety standards to ensure a secure and well-managed store environment.
Qualifications:
- 5 years in high-volume retail management (Flagship experience preferred).
- Strong leadership and operational excellence mindset
- Deep interest and knowledge of K-POP artists, fandom culture, and trends
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Flexible schedule including weekends and event days
- Bilingual in English and Korean is a plus.
