What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adventure Club Aide Position position at Dear Elementary?
The Richmond R-XVI School District is accepting applications for Adventure Club support staff members for the Fall of 2026. This job reports to the Adventure Club site Lead.
The successful candidate must be 16 years of age. A high school diploma is preferred but not required. Pay is dependent upon level of education and experience.
Job Summary: The job of an Adventure Club aid is done for the purpose/es of providing support to the educational process and specific responsibility for organizing and directing age-appropriate activities for students in grades kindergarten through 5th grade; preparing and serving snacks, and providing assistance with homework; and assisting in maintaining a clean and safe learning environment for all students enrolled in the Adventure Club Program. In addition, Adventure Club Aids may also be door greeters on occasion which will also be posted at the interior door to admit parents and other caregivers to the building to retrieve their children. He or she will supervise guardian sign out and student dismissal. Other duties may include, but not limited to, providing activities to meet the needs of their assigned students, support the students in completing their homework, and support the program director in all activities and needs.
