DeAnza Termite & Pest Control is seeking an experienced Termite Inspector to join our growing team. We're looking for a knowledgeable professional who enjoys meeting with homeowners, identifying termite and wood-destroying organism issues, and providing honest, effective solutions.

Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial termite inspections.
- Inspect homes for evidence of termites, wood-destroying organisms, fungus, and moisture-related damage.
- Access crawl spaces, attics, roofs, garages, and other areas necessary to complete thorough inspections.
- Prepare accurate Wood Destroying Organism (WDO) inspection reports in accordance with California Structural Pest Control Board requirements.
- Explain inspection findings and treatment recommendations clearly to homeowners and real estate professionals.
- Develop treatment and repair recommendations based on inspection results.
- Create diagrams and estimates for termite treatments and structural repairs.
- Educate customers on termite prevention and conditions conducive to infestations.
- Maintain accurate inspection records using company software.
- Schedule follow-up inspections as needed.
- Represent DeAnza with professionalism and exceptional customer service.
- Follow all California Structural Pest Control regulations and company safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Current California Branch 3 Field Representative
- Branch 2 License is a plus.
- Experience performing termite inspections and preparing WDO reports.
- Knowledge of termite biology, wood-destroying organisms, moisture intrusion, and structural damage.
- Strong communication and sales skills.
- Ability to explain technical information in a clear and professional manner.
- Valid California driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to inspect crawl spaces, attics, roofs, basements, and confined spaces.
- Frequently climb ladders and work from heights.
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Wear appropriate PPE when required.
- Comfortable walking roofs and uneven terrain during inspections.
