What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at Deano's Pasta?
Food Distributor in Somerville MA looking for professional, friendly applicants for Part Time Positions, 2-4 days a week. Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday shifts available, starting at 7:30 am and ending around 4:30 pm. We are looking for happy, positive, and grounded people to join our team to help keep our customers loving us. College Students, Gap Year Students, Recent Grads, Door Dash, and Uber Drivers welcome to apply.
- Requirement: A clean driving record is a must.
- You will double check and load orders (boxes of pasta products) into one of our Non-CDL pick-up trucks, then make deliveries to our customers, which are restaurants and specialty grocers (businesses) in the MA, RI, and NH areas. You will driving our company owned truck, not your vehicle.
- No home or residence deliveries.
- Must be able to lift 20-50 lbs. frequently.
- Must be able to sit and drive for long periods of time.
- Need to be Very reliable. Need to be courteous to and respect fellow drivers on the road, and be very attentive to each customers' delivery requirements. A friendly, positive attitude is a must have.
- Must be able to work happily and be productive alone for long periods of time
- Need a clean MA driver's license.
- Great for College Students and anyone that likes driving and is looking for supplemental income. $20.00 per hour to start. Please respond with days available you can work.
