Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Title Closing Coordinator to join our team. This role is pivotal in managing the closing process from start to finish, including title procedures, ordering searches, and handling post-closing escrow activities. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and knowledgeable about New York title processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and review closing documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations.
Order and review title searches, liens, and other necessary documents for real estate transactions.
Manage post-closing escrow procedures, including disbursements, recording, and final documentation.
Maintain accurate records and ensure all files are complete and compliant with company standards.
Assist with resolving title issues and discrepancies as they arise.
Support other team members and participate in process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
1-2 years of experience in title coordination or a similar role, preferably in New York.
Strong understanding of title procedures, searches, and escrow processes.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple transactions simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy.
Detail-oriented and capable of problem-solving under tight deadlines.
