Specimen Processing / Specimen Technician (SPT I) Job Details: Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday 5:00pm to 1:30am Location: 33608 Ortega Hwy, San Juan Capistrano CA 92675Temporary to hire Starting Pay Rate: $17.20/ hour (based on experience) Benefits: ACA Healthcare Compliant Healthcare Benefits, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, 401(k), referral bonus and other incentives Specimen Processing / Specimen Technician (SPT I) Responsibilities:Perform specimen presort, A-station tasks, centrifugation, aliquoting, and internal specimen transport Ensure compliance with lab standards and changing test regulations Maintain productivity and quality standards in a production-based environment Practice safe handling in a biohazard setting Communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of staff Keep work areas organized and maintain departmental timelines Demonstrate adaptability and strong interpersonal skills Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, required. Job Requirements:Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.Comfortable working in a biohazard environment Medical background preferred which includes medical terminology applicable to a clinical laboratory.
