Specimen Processing / Specimen Technician (SPT I) Job Details: Schedule: 10:00pm - 6:00am Monday- Friday with Saturday rotation. Every 4th week, schedule will require 1 Saturday in lieu of a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.Location: 200 Forest St, Marlborough MA 01752Temporary to hire Starting Pay Rate: $19.48/ hour (based on experience) Benefits: ACA Healthcare Compliant Healthcare Benefits, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, 401(k), referral bonus and other incentives Specimen Processing / Specimen Technician (SPT I) Responsibilities:Perform specimen presort, A-station tasks, centrifugation, aliquoting, and internal specimen transport Ensure compliance with lab standards and changing test regulations Maintain productivity and quality standards in a production-based environment Practice safe handling in a biohazard setting Communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of staff Keep work areas organized and maintain departmental timelines Demonstrate adaptability and strong interpersonal skills Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, required. Job Requirements:Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.Comfortable working in a biohazard environment Medical background preferred which includes medical terminology applicable to a clinical laboratory.
