Cook I Job Details: Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30AM - 2:30pm (May vary)Location: 525 E Market St, Akron, OH 44304Temporary to hire Starting Pay Rate: $18.67/ hour (based on experience) Benefits: ACA Healthcare Compliant Healthcare Benefits, dental and vision coverage, life insurance, 401(k), referral bonus and other incentives Cook Responsibilities: Prepare and serve meals according to established menus, dietary guidelines, and portion requirements. Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a clean, safe kitchen environment. Collaborate with fellow kitchen staff and management to meet mealtime schedules. Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering/restocking as needed. Comply with hospital and departmental food preparation standards. Maintain a sanitary, organized, and hazard-free work area. Complete additional tasks assigned by the supervisor. Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, required. Ability to obtain and maintain Food Safety Certification. Job Requirements: Familiarity with various cooking methods, food handling, and safety protocols. Basic math and measuring skills. Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting with attention to detail. Must be able to lift, bend, push, pull, and remain on feet for extended periods.
