Position Summary
We’re seeking an experienced Concrete Finisher who can deliver flawless flatwork for pool decks, patios, driveways, walkways, and decorative concrete projects. You must be skilled in broom finish, stamped, exposed aggregate, and colored concrete.
If you can float a slab like glass, finish edges with machine-like precision, and work efficiently without sacrificing quality—we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Pour and finish concrete flatwork: pool decks, patios, driveways, and sidewalks
- Perform decorative concrete: stamped patterns, exposed aggregate, integral color
- Form, grade, and set elevations for proper drainage
- Apply sealers, stains, and protective coatings
- Coordinate with pool and landscape crews on integrated projects
- Maintain and operate equipment: power trowels, screeds, saws, floats
- Track labor hours in LMN and meet efficiency targets
- Ensure proper curing, expansion joint placement, and surface integrity
- Train and mentor crew members on finishing techniques
- Enforce jobsite safety: PPE use, silica dust controls, safe material handling
Requirements
- 8 years of concrete finishing experience
- Expert-level flatwork skills: floating, troweling, edging, jointing
- Skilled in decorative concrete (stamping, staining, exposed aggregate)
- Ability to read grade plans and set elevations accurately
- Physical stamina; ability to work on knees and in varying weather conditions
- Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening
- Willingness to work Saturdays during peak season and early-morning pours
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $60,000 – $80,000
- Performance Bonus: Based on labor efficiency, quality, and client reviews
