Delivery Driver

Route Driver **No Overnights or Weekends**

Hours:

• Route hours will vary between 4:30 am to 6:00 pm (Mon. - Fri.)
• Eligible for OT after 8 hours each day
• CDL Preferred
• Within 6 months of hire the successful applicant will be required to obtain Hazmat endorsement, H2S, and OSHA 10 certifications.
• Must pass a drug test, reference check, background check, and motor vehicle records check before hire.
• Must have basic knowledge of and comply with all D.O.T. industry, and company safety regulations.
• High School degree or equivalent
• Job Description:
• Run routes (package & bulk) per transportation schedule.
• Work hand in hand with transportation manager to organize, pull, and load trucks for delivery.
• Make route deliveries in a timely manner.
• Maintain all paperwork associated with process.
• Operate forklift.
• Unload & check in incoming packaged goods.
• Put packaged goods away in an accurate, timely, and orderly manner.
• Unload incoming bulk oil trucks.
• Pull and stage bulk & packaged goods for route deliveries.
• Load package trucks & bulk trucks for route deliveries.
• Fill drums and totes from bulk tanks.
• Clean and maintain warehouse and grounds.
• General:
• Maintain cleanliness of warehouse, trucks, equipment, etc.
• Ensure that truck maintenance is performed on a regular basis.
• Have a courteous disposition with customers and coworkers.
• Uniform shirts, coats and appropriate PPE must be worn at all times.
• Physical Demands:
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and roll 55-gallon drums weighing more than 400 pounds.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to bend, stoop, twist and move freely in the performance of the position.
