Responsibilities
- Must be available Friday and Saturday, with some Mondays
- Wine knowledge a plus, but not required
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems
- Provide detailed menu descriptions, including wine options, to enhance guest experience
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Process transactions efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and POS payments accurately
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably in fine dining settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems- we specifically use square.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle inquiries professionally
- Knowledge of wine of a plus, but not required
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy service periods
- Basic math skills for processing sales transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities
- Familiarity with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
