Summary
Responsible for cleaning, reconditioning, and maintaining the appearance of vehicles both at the dealership and at our off-site detail facility. This role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both individually and as a team, in a fast-paced environment while delivering a high-quality finished product.
Essential Duties
- Perform interior and exterior detailing on new, used, and customer vehicles
- Wash, dry, wax, buff vehicle exteriors
- Vacuum, shampoo, and clean upholstery, carpets and wipe down all interior surfaces
- Clean and polish windows, mirrors, wheels, and trim
- Remove stains, odors and minor cosmetic imperfections as necessary
- Inspect vehicles for noticeable defects, such as dents, scratches, torn upholstery, and poor mechanical operation.
- Use proper eye, hand and body protection when using cleaning products that require protection.
- Prepare vehicles for showroom display and customer delivery
- Maintain lot presentation and vehicle cleanliness
- Assist with quick turnarounds on sold units and customer vehicles
- Ensure proper stickers are displayed on the vehicle.
- Maintain shop cleanliness, tools and equipment
- Safely transport dealership and customer vehicles between dealership and detail shop
- Fill vehicles up with gas, as needed
- Communicate effectively with all team members and management to prioritize workflow
- Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Help with winter lot cleanup/snow removal, as needed
- Maintains professional appearance
- Maintains positive attitude
- Other tasks as assigned.
