Job Description
We are a fast-growing online resale business based in Britt, Iowa, selling primarily through Whatnot. We’re looking for dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team in two roles:
- Order Packing Assistants to prepare and ship customer orders
This is a great opportunity for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and/or energetic and comfortable on camera, looking for flexible part-time work with performance-based upside.
Responsibilities (Packing Assistant)
- Pack customer orders from live Whatnot sales accurately
- Print labels and prepare packages for shipping (USPS)
- Double-check orders to ensure correct items are shipped
- Organize inventory and packing supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized packing area
- Assist with basic inventory counts and restocking supplies
Requirements
- Reliable and punctual
- Strong work ethic and high energy
- Attention to detail (especially for packing role)
- Comfortable working independently or on camera (depending on role)
- Trustworthy when handling inventory and orders
- Ability to stand for periods of time and lift up to 30 lbs (packing role)
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience with e-commerce, Whatnot, eBay, or shipping platforms
- Familiarity with USPS shipping and labels
- Previous sales, streaming, or customer-facing experience
