What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inside Salesperson position at DEALERS AUTO AUCTION OF MOBILE LLC?
Provides administrative support to the Sales Team and assists in maintaining customer relationships.
JOB DUTIES
Telemarketing – make outbound calls to get buyers to the sale; call inactive dealers to encourage a return to the auction, and advise dealers of upcoming specialty sales, no-sales, etc.
Take details of any issues or complaints, document and submit to Sales Manager and General Manager for handling.
Assign #’s for sales people as they call in from field.
Set the sale under the direction of the Sales Manager & General Manager
Handling of dealer calls and matter such as sale #’s, gate passes, etc.
Creation/Coordination of promotional items, fliers, posters, e-blasts, social media, etc. under direction of Sales Manager
Thank you calls to newly registered dealers after 1st visit, calls of appreciation to long-term dealers (sellers/buyers).
Field questions as needed and coordinate with Sales Manager
Provide administrative support to the Sales Manager
Reporting as assigned by Sales Manager
High School Diploma or GED
Customer Service experience in an automobile environment, auction preferred
Computer experience in MS Office – Excel, Word and Outlook
Valid Driver’s License & Acceptable MVR

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
1 year of Customer Service Experience
Basic/Intermediate computer user – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
No supervisory responsibility
Tasks are multiple and focus more on single processes. Work is sometimes standardized and sometimes varied. There is no responsibility for budget, revenues and/or expenditures
Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Work is normally performed in a typical interior work environment which does not subject the employee to any hazardous or unpleasant elements.
Position requires light physical activity which includes 20% walking, 10% standing, and 70% sitting.
Physical requirements include bending, stooping, standing, twisting, turning, squatting, sitting, walking and peripheral vision, and hearing.
