Overview
We are looking for an Outside Coordinator for our Dealer Only Auto Auction, responsible for managing the physical flow of vehicles during and after an auction, ensuring they are staged, processed, and ready for sale or removal.
Typical Responsibilities
- Vehicle staging & movement: Organize and maintain vehicles in assigned quadrants, ensuring they are scanned into the correct staging area
- Inventory management: Verify vehicles are properly marked, aligned, and parked in the correct order for the sale
- Sale process support: Assist in moving sale-ready vehicles to the next staging area, ensuring a continuous flow through the sale
- Lot turn & audits: Perform vehicle/lot turn processes, conduct sale line audits, and make corrections as needed
- Communication: Liaise with other departments (e.g., account coordinators, lane leaders) to ensure smooth vehicle movement
- Post-sale tasks: Organize and stage vehicles after the sale, transport drivers to pick up vehicles, and assist with lot cleanup
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Auction business experience preferred; driving experience helpful but not required.
- Licenses: Valid driver’s license with a clean record; ability to drive standard transmission vehicles.
- Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, customer service orientation, ability to multi-task, and physical stamina for long hours on your feet.
- Technical: Basic computer skills; familiarity with auction systems or portable terminals.
Work Environment
- Location: On-site at our facility in Zephyrhills, Florida.
- Conditions: Outdoor work in all weather; frequent walking, standing, and entering/exiting vehicles.
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
