What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruitment Assistant position at DealerFlex?
The recruitment assistant is responsible for assisting and supporting the recruiting department in staffing in designated geographic regions. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: human resources, recruitment/employment, office administration, and policy implementation.
Essential Functions

- Screens and refers qualified applicants for Hiring Team to Interview
- Meets with field managers to maintain weekly changes to staffing needs
- Develops and maintains professional relationships with college, university, and community college placement offices as a sourcing tool.
- Schedules and attends job/career fairs with appropriate staff to generate qualified applicants
- Relies proper information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants
- Aids in conducting reference and background checks
- Researches, analyzes, prepares and presents hiring statistics
- Maintains records on recruiting activities; such as applications, job postings, and openings.
- Ability to manage some or all administrative duties within the local markets
- Aids in hiring decisions on a weekly basis
- Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.

Required Education and Experience
- An Associates degree or equivalent is preferred. Current experience in the role will be considered a viable substitute for some or all of educational requirements. For example, 1-3 years experience in a Human Resources, Administrative or Recruiting position.
