Tag Agency Manager-MVD Express
Type: Full-Time/Hourly
MVD Express is seeking a strong, hands-on leader to manage one of our Tag Agency locations. This role is responsible for leading the team, supporting daily operations, ensuring financial accuracy, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
The Tag Agency Manager works alongside their team while providing leadership, direction, and accountability. This position plays an active role in day-to-day operations while ensuring the location runs efficiently and meets all state and company requirements.
This role also partners closely with Operations and HR to support staffing, performance management, and overall branch success.

What You Will Do
Lead and Support Your Team
- Supervise, coach, and support employees during daily operations
- Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable
- Conduct employee evaluations and provide ongoing feedback
- Address employee relations matters and partner with Operations and HR as needed
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment
Work Within Daily Operations
- Actively assist with processing motor vehicle transactions
- Support workflow during peak business times
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of transactions
- Maintain compliance with state regulations and company policies
- Communicate updates and procedural changes in partnership with Operations
Manage Financial Accuracy
- Balance daily transactions and reconcile funds
- Prepare and verify state deposits
- Monitor cash handling, receipts, and reporting
- Ensure accuracy and accountability in all financial processes
Maintain Location Standards
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Ensure the office is organized, stocked, and operating efficiently
- Represent the company with professionalism and integrity
What We Are Looking For
- 3 to 5 years of management or leadership experience
- Experience in motor vehicle, title, or tag agency operations preferred
- Ability to lead while actively working within daily operations
- Strong attention to detail and financial accuracy
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Valid New Mexico Driver’s License required
- Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check
- Ability to successfully pass a motor vehicle record review
- Availability to work Monday through Saturday
Physical Requirements
- Ability to operate standard office equipment including computer, phone, and printer
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods
- Ability to review detailed documents for accuracy
Compensation
- Hourly pay of $21.10
- Eligible for overtime based on business needs
