What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dealership Car Porter position at Dealer Integrated Services?
Job Summary
Dealer Integrated Services is looking for a good, dependable, and safe driver to handle and maintain vehicles for one of our locations in West Houston (I-10 W, 77094).
Pay is $10.00-$12.00/hr. depending on experience.
Full-time schedule; Monday-Saturday 10am-7pm with 1 day of during the week and Sundays off.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Drive and arrange vehicles within the sales lot.
- Conduct pre-trip safety inspections, as required.
- Transport vehicles from one department or dealership to another.
- Deliver and pick up vehicles to and from client locations outside of the dealership.
- Perform specialized test procedures and document findings on driver report in a clear and concise manner.
- Perform other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous porter or dealership experience is preferred.
- Must be 19 years of age, due to insurance.
- Must have a valid Texas Driver's License.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must have a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check.
- Manual transmission proficiency preferred.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures and weather conditions.
