Customer Service & Delivery Representative

North Austin, TX

We are seeking a professional, customer-focused Customer Service & Delivery Representative to service automotive dealerships throughout the Austin area.

This is more than a driving job. You will be the face of our company, building relationships with dealership personnel while providing reliable, white-glove delivery service.

Compensation: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

What You'll Do

• Safely operate a 16' box truck on a daily delivery route
• Must be willing to acquire a Class C CDL w/HazMat endorsement and obey all laws governing the transit of hazardous materials.
• Deliver products to automotive dealerships throughout Central Texas
• Provide exceptional customer service at every stop
• Build and maintain strong relationships with service managers, parts managers, and dealership staff
• Load, unload, and handle products with care and attention to detail
• Verify deliveries and maintain accurate paperwork
• Represent the company in a professional manner at all times
• Work directly with the Sales Rep to create a coherent two-man team with emphasis on good communication and customer service.
• Communicate with the Sales Rep regarding the completion of sales notes.
• Responsible for communicating to Sales Rep and Dispatch any customer or delivery-related issues as they arise.

What We're Looking For

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Clean driving record
• Experience driving box trucks, delivery vehicles, or route vehicles preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily route
• Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
• Ability to lift and move products as required
• Automotive, dealership, route service, or delivery experience is a plus
• Willingness to Learn: No CDL? We will support and guide you through the process of earning your Class C CDL with Hazmat endorsement.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and 6 years of personal driving history.
• Comfortable driving a 16-ft box truck.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations is a plus.
• Required to load truck, deliver and unload at customer location.
• Class C CDL w/Hazmat endorsement
• Subject to random drug/alcohol screenings.
• Able to Walk/Sit/Stand for long periods.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Able to maneuver 55 gallon drum with use of a drum dolly.
• Good decision making and communication skills are a must.
• Pleasant and professional disposition needed at all times.

Work Schedule:

• Full-time role with typical work hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Occasional weekend work may be required based on delivery schedules.

Service Area: This regional delivery role primarily serves customers throughout the Austin metropolitan area and surrounding regions.
