Job Overview:
Manages the daily clinical, financial, and quality performance and outcome of our Med/Surg Unit. Assumes 24-hour accountability as appropriate to the service line. Contributes to and supports the hospital's mission, strategic goals, policies, and procedures. Demonstrates knowledge of and integrates the use of evidence-based outcomes for nursing practice. Integrates principles of growth and development in directing/providing care appropriate to the ages served.
Required: Certifications/Licenses/Experience:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Indiana or other compact licensed state
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Preferred: Certifications/Licenses/Experience:
- Five years hospital clinical nursing experience recommended
- One year of nursing management experience preferred
- Demonstrates leadership, creativity, and management skills
- Demonstrates effective interpersonal skills necessary to interact in a professional manner with customers
