Job Overview
This position is responsible for the primary source verification of provider applicants requesting participation in Deaconess Health Plans and/or Deaconess OneCare; Deaconess Hospital; Deaconess Gibson Hospital; Deaconess Union Hospital; Deaconess Henderson Hospital; and Memorial Hospital and Health Care, as required by the Deaconess Health Plan and Deaconess OneCare credentialing plans. This position may also be responsible for the ongoing verification for renewals, changes or sanctions of the provider’s DEA, Licensure, Board Certification, Malpractice Coverage and Collaborating Practice Agreements, as well as other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
High school diploma required. College credits or college degree preferred. Previous experience in managed care and/or provider credentialing helpful. Computer skills highly recommended. Experience working with the public is essential. Being detail oriented, having the ability to prioritize tasks, as well as being a team player are necessary skills for being successful in this role.
