- Ensure positive job margins through project completion
- Review estimations and manage budgets
- Ensure strict contract compliance
- Develop and nurture long-term relationships with clients, architects, and subcontractors
- Provide timely and transparent reporting
- Collaborate with Superintendents to keep projects on or ahead of schedule
- Manage, train, and supervise the project team following Deacon's systems and procedures
- Complete all job close-out procedures
- Consistently meet established deadlines and project schedules
- A combination of education and experience in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (e.g., a degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience)
- 3 years of experience in construction management with a track record of successful projects
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to maintain a professional environment
- Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task, including leading meetings, delivering reports and submittals, maintaining sub-lists, subcontracts, schedules, change orders, insurance, material procurement, logistics, as-builts, and closeout procedures
- Proficiency in computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office suite
- Exceptional management, leadership, and interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong problem-solving skills with a sense of urgency
