- Build and lead your team: PMs, engineers, superintendents, and field crews
- Develop lasting relationships with owners, architects, and trade partners, be the trusted face of Deacon
- Partner with preconstruction and business development to pursue and win new work
- Coach and develop your people—performance feedback, career growth, and building future leaders
- Representing Deacon in the local community through industry involvement and relationship-building
- 15 years of progressive construction experience—you've managed large, complex projects (multifamily, commercial, mixed-use)
- You've built and led teams, not just managed tasks—you develop people
- Strong technical chops: project controls, cost management, scheduling, risk assessment
- Clients trust you. Subs respect you. Your reputation precedes you.
- You know the Vancouver/Portland market (or you're ready to make it your home)
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field
- Competitive base salary: $150,000 - $195,000 , depending on experience
- Performance-based incentives tied to project and company success
