Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Drafter. The HVAC Drafter will be responsible for creating detailed ductwork designs, conducting MEP coordination, and preparing precise shop drawings. This role involves working closely with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate HVAC system designs are delivered for large-scale commercial and residential projects. The role also requires continuous collaboration to ensure projects meet quality standards and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in HVAC design and understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
- Proficiency in ducting design and creating detailed layout plans
- Expertise in MEP coordination, ensuring alignment of HVAC systems with other building systems
- Experience with preparing shop drawings for construction projects
- Proficiency in computer-aided drafting (CAD) and Revit software
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a remote environment
- Previous experience in commercial HVAC projects
- Associate or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field is a plus
