Job Overview
We are launching a brand-new, premium children's salon in Hampton Cove and are looking for an experienced Salon Director to help build and shape the operation from day one. This role is ideal for someone who has already worked inside a salon environment and wants to step into a leadership position where their voice and expertise directly influence the way the salon runs.
If you've worked in salon management, assisted in managing a salon, or led a team of stylists — and especially if you've worked with kids — this is your chance to put your stamp on a new, elevated salon concept designed for families.
What You'll Do
- Lead daily operations in a beautiful, modern children's salon.
- Oversee stylists, assistants, and support staff with a strong emphasis on training, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Help design the operational flow of the salon — scheduling, service pace, customer experience, and team culture.
- Hire, onboard, and mentor stylists, especially those skilled at working with children.
- Ensure service consistency, safety, and salon sanitation standards.
- Manage scheduling, shift coverage, performance, and communication within the team.
- Work with ownership to refine service menus, special events, birthday party offerings, and retail displays.
- Handle product ordering and inventory management.
- Be a welcoming, steady presence for families and staff.
Required Experience Salon experience is REQUIRED
(Manager, assistant manager, senior stylist, lead stylist, front desk supervisor, or similar role.)
Experience working with children is strongly preferred
(Kids salon, family salon, or comfortable with young clients.)
