Part-Time Evening Groom – Private Equestrian Facility (Tavares, FL)

I’m looking for a reliable, experienced horse person to handle evening chores at a private barn in Tavares.
Schedule
- 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- 6 days/week preferred, but fewer is possible
- One weekend day is mandatory
Responsibilities
- Evening feeding
- Turnout or bringing horses in (depending on weather/season)
- Mucking stalls and tidying the barn
- Preparing feed, hay, and supplies for the next morning
- Following written protocols and maintaining pace and standards
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional horse-care experience
- Confident, safe handling of sport horses
- Ability to work independently and follow structured routines
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and clear communication
- Physically capable of barn work
- Drug-free, drama-free, and professional
Compensation
Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
