We are seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Intern to join our team. This internship provides hands-on experience in supplier management, ERP/SRM systems, warehouse operations, and supply chain data integrity. The intern will work directly with Supply Chain and Operations leadership on strategic data improvement and supplier engagement initiatives, while also supporting day-to-day supply chain activities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Learn and develop proficiency in the company’s SRM system.
- Register and onboard US suppliers into the SRM platform.
- Contact suppliers via phone and email to explain registration requirements and ensure timely completion of qualification documentation.
- Track onboarding progress and escalate non-responsive suppliers.
- Review and validate supplier qualification documentation for completeness.
- Physically review off-the-shelf inventory in the warehouse to identify manufacturer and supplier part numbers.
- Research missing part data through online catalogs, supplier communication, and historical purchase orders.
- Assist with supplier master data maintenance.
- Support procurement with RFQs and quote comparisons.
- Assist in inventory analysis including slow-moving and obsolete reviews.
- Support white-label and aftermarket component initiatives.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects within Supply Chain and Operations.
Item Deliverables:
- Updated and fully registered US supplier database in SRM.
- Supplier onboarding tracker with completion status.
- Cleaned and validated manufacturer and supplier part number database.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong interest in Supply Chain, Operations, or Industrial Engineering.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Comfortable communicating directly with suppliers by phone and email.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required.
- Ability to work in both office and warehouse environments.
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to projects within the water industry.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field.
