Laboratory Manager
On-site near Coldwater, MI
Join a fast-growing company offering custom semen cryopreservation for beef, dairy, Cervidae, and ovine species as a hands-on Laboratory Manager. This role offers direct impact on production and a clear path to leadership for someone who thrives on precision and process.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee semen extension, packaging, cryopreservation & QC
- Execute accurate quality control and track production data
- Follow and improve SOPs
- Collaborate with lab/collection teams and communicate results to customers
- Maintain a clean, organized lab
- Support training of new team members
What We’re Looking For
- Detail-oriented, accountable, and self-motivated
- Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
- Bachelor’s in Biology, Animal Science, or related (preferred)
- Lab, manufacturing, or ag experience a plus
- Familiarity with livestock, FFA, or 4-H helpful
