Job Summary
We seek a creative and collaborative Mathematics teacher with a passion for educational ministry and a commitment to culturally responsive pedagogy. The ideal candidate possesses an expert capacity in helping students understand high school level math and a desire to inspire confidence and conceptual understanding in all students. Beyond classroom instruction, this role is vital to our "team effort" in supporting student growth; you will work directly with students in our Academic Resource Center to provide 1:1 and small-group interventions for students with academic need.
Job Summary:

Develop and implement comprehensive annual, unit, and lesson plans that include effective strategies for assessing student progress and learning.

Dedicate scheduled time in the Academic Resource Center to provide 1:1 and small-group support, helping struggling students bridge foundational gaps and master mathematical standards.

Actively participate in Department and Grade Level Team meetings, staff retreats, and professional development sessions.

Commit to serving all students, including those with learning differences, by implementing accommodation and specialized support as outlined in Learning Support Agreements.

Fulfill weekly lunch-time prefect duties and participate in Lasallian Youth Ministry, attend school mass, and other school-related activities
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or a related field.

Possess or be working toward an Oregon teaching license.

Demonstrated experience working with students and staff from diverse backgrounds.

Strong oral and written communication skills
