DLP Services is currently accepting applications for the position of:

POSITION TITLE:  FORKLIFT OPERATOR                                     Location:  Ft. Hood/Kileen, TX

JOB DESCRIPTION/INFO:

• Temporary Project- 30 days up to 60 days.
• The Forklift Operator will use a forklift to transport different materials around the warehouse/building and to load and unload materials from the loading dock.

JOB SUMMARY:

• Must have excellent communication skills.
• Must be able to load and unload materials manually, off or on pallets, platforms, skids, or lifting devices.
• Perform pre and post-inspections to ensure working forklift equipment.
• Plans and coordinates with upper management regarding loading and unloading operations.
• Keep updated records of inventory
• Comply with company guidelines and safety policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must pass federal background check
• Must be certified- 10K/30K
• Must have 1-3 years experience

SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:

Receives supervision from the supervisor. Position has formal assigned supervisory responsibility and authority. Must complete jobs without constant supervision.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The principal duties of this position are performed in an indoor environment, with high equipment noise.

ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY:

This position is subject to pre-employment drug testing. DLP Services has a Drug Free Workplace Policy which includes Post-Accident Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must pass a federal background check
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.

Other: Valid Drivers’ License Class C
