Position Details
- Position Title: Sales Marketing Representative
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Location: Shreveport, LA
- Compensation: $45,000 - 60,000 annually *commission opportunity may be available*
Job Summary
In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth through proactive lead generation, effective client relationship management, and consistent achievement of sales goals. This individual actively engages in face-to-face outreach, phone calls, emails, and networking events to generate high-quality leads, while maintaining accurate and up-to-date contact lists. They manage a well-organized sales pipeline, consistently converting prospects into customers and identifying cross-selling opportunities across multiple service lines. With a focus on delivering tailored, professional sales presentations and proposals, the representative ensures client needs are met with clarity and precision. Strong client relationships are built and maintained through responsive, professional communication and exceptional service follow-up. Additionally, the representative takes ownership of their responsibilities, meets ERP completion goals, participates in ongoing professional development, and adheres to all company safety and compliance standards.
Duties/Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include:
- Lead Generation
- Regularly generates high-quality leads through proactive outreach (face-to-face, phone, email).
- Consistently meets or exceeds daily marketing contact objectives, utilizing a defined "Target 25" strategy.
- Actively participates in associates, networking events and professional gatherings to generate leads.
- Consistently updates and maintains accurate, relevant contact lists, including additions/deletions.
- Achieve Sales Goals
- Regularly meets or exceeds established sales goals.
- Maintains a robust, organized sales pipeline, clearly reflecting potential opportunities.
- Consistently achieves high conversion rates from prospect to customer.
- Proactively identifies and successfully secures cross-selling opportunities (ERPS, HVAC, cleaning, construction)
- Build & Maintain Relationships with Key Clients
- Regularly maintains strong relationships, resulting in consistent repeat business.
- Consistently responsive, clear, and professional in all client communications.
- Effectively addresses client concerns promptly through face-to-face, phone, or email communication.
- Actively identifies and strengthens relationships with new and existing centers of influence.
- Sales Presentations & Proposals
- Delivers consistently engaging, clear and professional sales presentations.
- Regularly produces accurate, detailed proposals promptly.
- Consistently tailors presentations/proposals to address client-specific needs clearly.
- Clearly demonstrates thorough knowledge of SERVPRO resources, estimating and production processes in presentations.
- Professional Development & Compliance
- Consistently meets or exceeds monthly ERP completion targets; clearly communicates ERP benefits.
- Actively engages in professional development, safety training and industry knowledge improvement.
- Consistently demonstrates ownership and accountability for assigned responsibilities and tasks.
- Always complies with company safety guidelines and risk management practices in office and field settings.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- This role does not include direct supervisory duties but does require cross-functional collaboration and informal leadership through accountability, support, and follow-through.

- Familiarity with ERP systems, estimating tools, and company-specific processes (such as SERVPRO protocols) is highly beneficial.

- Understands and follows all company safety guidelines and risk management practices.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- 2–4 years of experience in sales, business development, or marketing, preferably in service-based industries such as restoration, construction, or facilities management.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and maintaining a high lead-to-close conversion rate.
- Experience in client relationship management, including in-person sales, phone and email communications, and delivering presentations.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, sales tracking tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience working with or knowledge of Emergency Ready Plans (ERP), property restoration services, or facility management is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk and using a computer.
- Ability to type, handle documents, and operate office equipment.
- Occasional standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms; occasional bending, stooping, and kneeling to access files or supplies.
- Ability to lift and carry materials and equipment up to 15 pounds as needed.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person, over the phone, or via electronic communication.
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle (if needed for office support errands).
