Job Description

We are currently seeking a Manufacturing System Test Technician . This position is for an intermediate level technician with 2 years of manufacturing experience. The candidate should have good written and verbal communication skills, passion for work with computer hardware and solid troubleshooting skills. This is an onsite role in Chatsworth, CA and can be hired as a temp to FTE or a FTE.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hardware/software testing of Intel based electromechanical sub-assemblies and complete systems
• Set up of a standard test equipment, conduct functional, operational and burn-in tests
• Follow process instructions and procedures for quality assurance
• Analyze hardware/software issues and troubleshoot
• Maintain records on work performed and report of the results
• Create Problem and Non-Conformance reports in Oracle database
• Maintain the work area in a clean and neat manner
  
  

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (required)
• A Certification in computer repair (required)
• Experience with assembly, repairing of computer hardware
• Proven skills in testing and quality assurance
• Ability to work well under pressure of meeting deadlines with a strong sense of urgency
• Candidates should be comfortable using basic measurement tools, including digital infrared thermometers, digital airflow meters, and digital multimeters
• Ability to follow directions and instructions precisely
• Ability to communicate technical information effectively
• Good technical written skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with OS (Linux is preferred)
• Fast learner with a keen aptitude for technology
• Manufacturing background preferred but not necessary
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Note: this position may involve a very limited travel
  
  

Candidates who start on or after March 5, 2025 as a FT DDN employee, will be eligible to receive a $500 sign-on bonus as a welcome to our team. This bonus is our way of showing appreciation for choosing to grow your career with us.

Pay range: $22.00/hr - $25.00/hr. If FT, eligible for a 5% target bonus.
