Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled CNC Maintenance Technician to keep our Quartz and solid surface manufacturing plant running smoothly. You will install, test, troubleshoot, and repair computer numerical control (CNC) machines, including Waterjets, Bridge Saws/5-Axis Saws, and Routers. We also have vacuum lifters, cranes, water recycling & filtration systems, and dust collection & ventilation systems. Your goal is to stop machine breakdowns before they happen and fix problems quickly when they occur.Key Responsibilities
- Preventative Care: Perform routine daily, weekly, and monthly checks on all CNC equipment to stop unexpected failures.
- Troubleshooting: Find and fix electrical, mechanical, pneumatic (air), and hydraulic (fluid) problems.
- Repair & Rebuild: Replace broken parts, fix motors, and align machine axes to high precision.
- Installation: Set up, level, and calibrate new or relocated CNC machinery.
- Documentation: Keep clear logs of all repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
- Safety: Follow all factory safety rules and lock-out/tag-out (LOTO) procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience maintaining industrial or CNC machinery.
- Education: High school diploma required. Technical certification, trade school, or associate degree in electro-mechanical repair is a plus.
- Reading Schematics: Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical blueprints and diagrams.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with CNC controls (SASSO, and Prussiani machines),and basic programming.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and use tools safely in a loud shop environment.
