EXCEPTIONAL JOB OPENING FOR A NURSE PRACTITIONER OR PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT
DDC Clinic is seeking a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join its highly respected center for the care of individuals with rare genetic disorders. We are a medical home providing culturally competent medical services, patient-centered research, an in-house molecular diagnostics laboratory, and education and support for families. Our 11,000 square foot LEED Gold facility was designed to provide world-class personalized medicine in an environment that’s comfortable for patient families and conducive to research and collaborations with major medical centers.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with physicians very closely to practice medicine in a center with more than a two-decade track record of identifying, diagnosing and treating patients affected by more than 250 rare conditions. As a primary care provider, they will also work closely with geneticists, cardiologists, genetic counselors, nurse practitioner, physician assistant and other team members for patient care and research.
DDC Clinic is located in Middlefield, Ohio, the center of the world’s fourth largest Amish settlement, just 40 minutes east of metropolitan Cleveland. Cleveland features world class arts and culture, outdoor recreation, major universities and medical facilities, and an international airport. QUALIFICATIONS
§ BC/BE in Med-Peds, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine or Pediatrics.
§ Experience in, or eagerness to learn diagnostics, evaluation, treatment and support of individuals with complex conditions.
§ Demonstrated commitment to providing compassionate, culturally sensitive, cost effective care.
§ Background or interest in genetic disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, cardiac and cardiogenetic disorders is a plus.
