We are searching for experienced fabricators for our metal shop.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience in either metal fabrication or carpentry; TIG welding, CNC, 3 dimensional letters/logo fabrication, and experience with lighting with are a plus. Exhibit house/trade show experience is desired. Candidates must be reliable, hard working, have good attention to detail. Extended and weekend shifts, including rotating on-call, is required and should be expected during busy periods.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Reviews shop drawings prior to beginning each job. Asks questions to the department that provided the information to clarify scope or when there are yellow or red flags.
- Reports ongoing drawing and template issues to the Fabrication Manager.
- Ensures execution of project details and quality in accordance with DD2’s brand identity.
- Responsible for completing projects on milestone and re-work within agreed upon deadlines.
- Reviews Fabrication queue daily and reports project statuses to Fabrication Manager prior to the production meetings. Responsible for keeping projects on milestone and knowing project statuses at all times.
- Takes initiative to find solutions and utilize available resources to solve problems. Go-to for project problem solving, coordinating with other departments to get the job done on time.
- Machine maintenance. Reports machine issues promptly to Fabrication Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32.0 – 80.0 per week
