Job Overview
Assist a wonderful family during summer break as a Full Time Child Respite provider, where your energy and compassion will make a meaningful difference in the lives of children. In this role, you will offer temporary relief to primary caregivers by providing safe, engaging, and nurturing care for school- aged children. Hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 5:00pm, with flexibility.
Duties
- Provide attentive supervision for children, 1:1 care
- Redirect mild behaviors with ease and hold firm boundaries
- Assist with daily routines such as reading, mealtimes and engaging in age-appropriate activities- basketball, outside play, swimming, YMCA, etc.
- Support children’s social interactions
- Communicate with families and professional care team to ensure consistent care is given
Skills
- Ability to stick to the child's routine
- Ability to be stern and provide redirection when necessary
- Compassionate caregiver with patience, adaptability, and excellent communication skills

Pay: $17.97 per hour
